Most of these photos were taken way back
in the Wilko years, except for a few later photos they were taken with a film
camera and the prints scanned for use on here. I took these with a Nikon 301
plus a 200mm lens, taking photos with a telephoto lens wasnt really welcomed at
Elland Road but while the Kop was still standing I just tried to keep the camera
out of sight of any officals, as you can see they are definitely very
amateurish, so I dont think they had much fear from my attempts at football
photos! Seating not only ruined watching the game for me it also stopped my
photos stone dead!! I have split them up into groups, there is one of the
players on the field of play, split into separate pages for easy loading.
Players who are obviously not, and some of these are of players in later times.
Theres a page of photos of the ground inside and out. One is of the ground
changes in the early 90s, this includes photos of the new East Stand being
built, the Kop stripped of Crush Barriers waiting for seats (ugh) and the pitch
ripped up having new under soil heating fitted and waiting to be returfed.
