Robert Hardy

The late Robert Hardy (1925-2017) was the patron of the Towton Battlefield Society, he was better known for his acting skills as he played in numerous films and many tv programmes such as the long running All Creatures Great and Small, not many people knew he was an expert on the longbow and had written two books on the subject. he was also involved as the weapons expert on the raising of the old sailing ship The Mary Rose.
